SEM Mobile is the public-sector answer to private parking apps in Argentina. The June 2026 relaunch added sensible features such as QR parking without registration and multi-plate profiles. The software execution, however, trails the concept badly. Its 2.6-star Google Play rating is earned: the forced migration from the old SEM La Plata app locked drivers out mid-session, password recovery routinely fails, SMS codes do not arrive, and paying takes far more taps than PayByPhone or EasyPark would tolerate. Drivers in SEM cities have little practical choice, since this is the only digital way to pay those curbside rates.
